Smart Optic — Optical Shop Management
Customers and eye prescriptions, lens and contact lens ranges, sales, stock across branches, transfers and purchasing for optical shops, in Lao, English and Thai.
The challenge
Optical shops sell thousands of lens powers, keep customers' prescriptions for years and move stock between branches, which is hard to track on paper.
What we built
- Customers and prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses, with a printed Rx card.
- Lens ranges by brand, index and design, where every SPH / CYL / ADD power is its own stock item.
- Sales with part payments and a list of glasses still to hand over to customers.
- Several branches with their own stock, transfers between branches and purchasing from suppliers.
- Excel import and export for products and prices, and WhatsApp messages to customers.
- Lao, English and Thai screens and printed documents.
- Smart Link: works together with the business's other Smart apps (spa, gym, hotel, clinic, school, POS, gold, optic) for shared customers, charging a bill to a hotel room and combined sales.
