Smart School — School Management
Students, classes, attendance, marks and report cards, timetables and school fees in one bilingual system for schools in Lao PDR.
The challenge
Schools were keeping class lists, attendance, marks and fee payments in separate notebooks and spreadsheets, which made report cards and fee follow-up slow.
What we built
- Students with guardians, medical notes, class history, fees and balance, plus Excel import and export.
- Classes with homeroom and subject teachers, enrolment and promotion to the next year.
- Attendance in one tap per student, with WhatsApp messages to guardians of absent students.
- Marks and report cards: weighted tests and exams, term results with grade and rank, printed report cards.
- Timetables without teacher clashes, and each teacher's weekly load.
- School fees: fee plans per level and term, invoices for a whole class, scholarships and payment by cash, QR or card.
- Smart Link: works together with the business's other Smart apps (spa, gym, hotel, clinic, school, POS, gold, optic) for shared customers, charging a bill to a hotel room and combined sales.
