WhatsApp Business Gateway
A self-hosted WhatsApp gateway that lets any website or app send OTP codes, messages and notifications, receive replies and run a keyword auto-reply bot.
The challenge
Customers in Laos live on WhatsApp, not email. Our clients' websites and systems needed a reliable, affordable way to send codes, receipts and reminders there.
What we built
- OTP login and verification over WhatsApp for sign-up, login and password reset.
- Two connection modes: QR-linked numbers (free) or the official Meta Cloud API.
- Multiple numbers side by side, each with its own session.
- Templates, delivery receipts and incoming messages forwarded by webhook.
- Keyword bot that answers customers automatically, with a shared address book.
- Simple API with keys per client website or app.
The result
It powers WhatsApp messages across our products: receipts in SmartPOS, booking confirmations in Smart Stay and pawn reminders in Smart Gold.
