SmartPOS — Restaurant & Minimart POS
A complete point of sale for restaurants, cafés and minimarts in Laos: table orders, kitchen screens, barcode checkout, stock, purchasing, accounting and reports in Lao and English.
The challenge
Restaurants and shops in Lao PDR were juggling paper order slips, a separate cash book and stock counted by hand. Owners could not see the day's sales or what was running low until it was too late.
What we built
- Table and counter POS with split and merge bills, plus a fast minimart mode for barcode scanning.
- Kitchen display and printing by zone, so each station gets only its own orders.
- Flexible payments: cash, BCEL / LDB QR, card, customer accounts and foreign currency.
- Stock, purchasing and suppliers with low-stock alerts.
- Shifts, expenses, accounting and reports for owners and accountants.
- WhatsApp receipts and notifications, role-based access, and a built-in bilingual user manual.
- Smart Link: works together with the business's other Smart apps (spa, gym, hotel, clinic, school, POS, gold, optic) for shared customers, charging a bill to a hotel room and combined sales.
